КОМПЛЕКС УПРАЖНЕНИЙ НА РАЗВИТИЕ АУДИТИВНЫХ УМЕНИЙ НА ОСНОВЕ УМК ПО АНГЛИЙСКОМУ ЯЗЫКУ SPOTLIGHT – 10

Аннотация. В статье исследуются вопросы целей обучения аудированию в старших классах. Осмысляется важность требований, предъявляемых к формированию речевой компетенции в целом. Устанавливается следующее противоречие: несмотря на достаточное количество работ, посвященных изучению важности аудирования как формы устного общения, некоторые методисты до сих пор отмечают, что аудирование все еще рассматривается учителями как побочный продукт говорения, соответственно на уроках используется эпизодически в ситуациях, далёких от аутентичных. Цель статьи состоит в презентации авторских упражнений, составленных по тематике УМК по английскому языку Spotlight – 10, использование которых, на наш взгляд, поможет разнообразить процесс развития аудитивных умений старшеклассников и сделать его наиболее продуктивным. Презентуемые упражнения направлены на развитие аудитивных умений. Каждое упражнение составлено на основе выбранного аутентичного песенного материала, соответствующего тематике УМК для 10 класса. Конкретные задачи заключаются в анализе УМК по английскому языку Spotlight – 10 на предмет наличия аутентичного песенного материала, выявлении возможного дефицита аутентичных песенных произведений, подборе песенного аутентичного материала, соответствующего тематике 1 модуля УМК, составлению собственных упражнений на основе выбранного произведения. Главное внимание уделяется проблеме составления упражнений на основе выбранного песенного аутентичного произведения, соответствующего тематике УМК. Согласно нашей гипотезе, составленные упражнения представляют собой интересный и познавательный ресурс, который может быть не только развлекательным, но и учебным с богатым обучающим потенциалом.

SET OF EXERCISES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF LISTENING SKILLS BASED ON THE STUDENT’S BOOK SPOTLIGHT – 10

Abstract. The article examines the goals of listening teaching in senior classes. The importance of the requirements for the formation of speech competence in general is comprehended. The following contradiction is established: despite a sufficient number of works devoted to studying the importance of listening as a form of oral communication, some methodologists still note that listening is still considered by teachers as a by-product of speaking, and accordingly, it is used sporadically in lessons in situations that are far from authentic.
The purpose of the article is to present the author’s exercises, compiled on the subject of teaching materials in the English language Spotlight — 10, aimed at developing listening skills. The use of the presented exercises, in our opinion, will help diversify the process of developing listening skills of high school students and make it the most productive. The presented exercises are aimed at developing listening skills. Each exercise is based on selected authentic song material corresponding to the theme of teaching materials for the 10th grade. Specific tasks are to analyze the teaching materials in the English language Spotlight — 10 for the presence of authentic song material, to identify a possible shortage of authentic song works, to select authentic song material that corresponds to the theme of module 1 of the Student’s book, and to compose our own exercises based on the selected material. The main attention is paid to the problem of compiling exercises based on a selected authentic song work that corresponds to the theme of the educational value. According to our hypothesis, the compiled exercises represent an interesting and educational resource that can be not only entertaining, but also educational with rich teaching potential.
