Аннотация. Статья посвящена исследованию значения образа древнерусского волхва в поэзии А.С. Пушкина: на основе анализа произведений поэта, в которых используется данный образ, утверждается принципиальное своеобразие пушкинской интерпретации понятия «волхв» в контексте сложившейся на рубеже 18-19 веков отечественной литературной традиции, делается вывод о той концептуальной роли, которую играет этот образ в творчестве Пушкина, выступая универсальным символом хранителя сакральной мудрости и базовых ценностей древнерусской культуры. THE IMAGE OF THE SAGUE IN THE POETRY BY A.S. PUSHKIN K.V. Bulavkin State University of Humanities and Technology Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of the meaning of the image of the Old Russian sorcerer in the poetry by A.S. Pushkin: based on the analysis of the poet's works in which this image is used, the fundamental originality of Pushkin's interpretation of the concept of "sorcerer" in the context of the Russian literary tradition that developed at the turn of the 18-19th centuries is asserted, a conclusion is drawn about the conceptual role that this image plays in Pushkin's work, acting as a universal symbol of the guardian of sacred wisdom and basic values of ancient Russian culture.
