Аннотация. Статья посвящена художественному анализу античной рецепции в творчестве крупнейшего представителя русского символизма, поэта Серебряного века И.Ф. Анненского, в частности, влиянию образов Гомера на сюжетно-композиционную основу первой книги стихов Анненского «Тихие песни». Автор приходит к выводу о том, что один из ключевых эпизодов «Одиссеи», связанный с пещерой циклопа Полифема, был творчески переосмыслен русским поэтом и стал источником символического сюжета его книги. HOMER'S MOTIVES IN THE CREATIVITY OF I. ANNENSKY K.V. Bulavkin State University of Humanities and Technology Abstract. The article is devoted to the artistic analysis of the ancient reception in the work of the greatest representative of Russian symbolism, the poet of the Silver age I.F. Annensky, in particular, the influence of Homer's images on the plot-compositional basis of the first book of Annensky's poems «Quiet Songs». The author comes to the conclusion that one of the key episodes of «the Odyssey», associated with the cave of Cyclops Polyphemus, was creatively reinterpreted by the Russian poet and became the source of the symbolic plot of his book.
